Before and afterOver the last few months, progress has been slow but steady at number 441 Carroll Street, between Nevins and 3rd Street.  Where once stood a crooked two-story, aluminum-clad building on the lot, which was demolished last year, there now stands a brand new gabled home.  Construction began last summer and it now looks as though its near completion.
According to the NYC Building's Department, this is a 2 family home with cellar and attic.
