Will "The Champ" Millender, Winner Of Cheese Eating ContestThe weather yesterday couldn't have been better for this year's Smith Street Funday Sunday celebration, the annual street fair, sponsored by South Brooklyn Local Development Corporation, which stretches from Union Street to Bergen Street.
The event highlights not only the small eateries and boutiques which line Smith Street, but also local arts and crafts, as well as great music.Apart from the great food, the highlight by far is Stinky's Cheese Eating Contest, which was held at 2 PM. Though quite a few contestant valiantly tried to beat the winner of years past, Will "The Champ" Millender, easily won for the sixth year in a row. He even set a record, wolfing down 16 onces of cheese in two minutes. Impressive.
